It is finally October, which means it is time for scary and spooky things galore.

This year, however, is particularly scary.

The Republican nominee for president, is downright terrifying.

Donald J. Trump.

The dictionary definition of a misogynistic, racist, homophobic, greedy, disgusting, repulsive monster.

Over the weekend, audio footage of Donald Trump was released.

Backstage conversation of Access Hollywood leaked for all to hear.

In the footage from 2005, Trump recounts an unsuccessful attempt at seducing an un-named lady (keep in mind that Trump literally got married to Melania on January 22, 2005).

While this woman’s identity is unknown, Trump’s intentions are not. He proudly proclaims, “I did try and fuck her. She was married.” He was married too.

Then Trump goes on to describe the woman’s “phony tits.” Very classy, Trump.

At this point, the conversation shifts when Trump see the actress Arianne Zucker, who is to escort him to set. While conversing with the host, Billy Bush, Donald Trump starts to say incredibly nasty shit.

Bush: Your girl’s hot as shit, in the purple.

Trump: Whoa! Whoa! I’ve got to use some Tic Tacs, just in case I start kissing her. You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything.

Bush: Whatever you want.

Trump: Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.

When the hellfire started down on Trump and his foul mouth, he excused his comments as “locker-room talk.”

Ah, yes. How would a naive 59-year-old man know better than to say such things outside a locker room? Much less realize that saying disgusting sexist remarks is not okay anywhere. Even in a locker room.

When repulsive sexually-charged and lewd comments are seen as “locker-room” talk, or as Trump said in Sunday’s debate, “just words,” they carry a hell of a lot more weight than Trump or anyone like him may think.

The fact that people are willing to rationalize these sickening remarks say a lot about our culture. Our rape culture.

This is damaging.

When people like Trump seemingly get away with saying horrible things like this, people like Brock Turner don’t get properly punished because, “boys will be boys.”

This type of thinking is toxic.

Boys will be boys.

I am no scientist,, but I am pretty sure that the genetic coding that biologically assigns people male does not have a chromosome set that makes them assholes.

This shit is fed to young boys.

We are teaching girls not to get raped, but we just have not gotten to the point where we teach boys not to rape.

Growing up, I remembered being told that when when boys pick on you, it’s because they like you. Now that I am older, I call bullshit.

Those little boys are harassing young girls. Not showing them affection. Love should not hurt.

Love should not be abusive or toxic or forceful or taken lightly.

When we let “boys will be boys” fly, we are slowly but surely, conflating love with abuse.

This whole idea is directly correlated with Trump and his mouth of a toilet.

I am terrified of a future where this man is our president.

I’m voting on November 8th. Are you?

P.S. I hope you laugh as much as I did upon hearing Trump lie to everyone on the planet.
